Jesus was accused of having a demon because he disagreed with the Jewish
leaders. Who else was likewise accused? Mt 11:18
Jesus says those who keep his word will not see death. Yet Abraham
and the prophets died except Elijah (2Kings2:11). What did the Jews think
of Jesus claim? (CCC 365-66, 400, 1008)
Would it have been difficult for you to understand what Jesus was talking about?

Why do the Jews pick up stones to execute Jesus? Lev 24:15-16, CCC 594
Were the Jews honestly attempting to carry out the laws of Moses or were they driven by a different reason?
How do you think Jesus avoided their assassination attempt? Jn 10:39, Lk 4:29-30.
So in truth Jesus who is I Am or God is standing in front of them yet they do not
see him or rather hear the truth by the word!
